Shane's Bio

Shane & the Money Makers have earned their name. They are one of Nashville's most respected and in-demand acts, working over two-hundred dates a year.   Around Nashville The Money Makers have performed at venues such as The Hard Rock Cafe, The Parthenon, Planet Hollywood, Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar, and at The Gaylord Entertainment Center for Nashville Kat's pre-game shows.   They also have been a regular feature at Nashville Shores for three years.

More recently, as their reputation has grown, they have taken to the road, working in the Mid-west and Southeastern states, and sharing the stage with the likes of George Jones, Martina McBride, Percy Sledge, and Highway 101.

Arriving in Nashville in 1992, Shane dove into the Nashville music scene.   After several years working with various acts (Miranda Louise, Diane Durret, Rumerz) and other local artists around Nashville, Shane was ready to step front and center, and to build a powerhouse band of his own.

Shane formed the Money Makers in 1998, enlisting Lenny Grasso on bass guitar and vocals.  Lenny had previously played bass for the legandary Essra Mohwak.  He is a soulful vocalist in the style of Sam Moore and Delbert McClinton, and brings a solid bottom to the Money Makers groove.   Next, drummer Gary (Q-Ball) Kubal signed on.  Gary brings his experience (T. Graham Brown, Bobby Bare, The Flying Burrito Brothers), as well as his fine playing, to the Money Makers sound.

Highly acclaimed by critics and fans alike, Shane and the Money Makers feature Shane's intense vocals and hot guitar slinging.   Combined with Lenny and Q-Ball's infectious groove, it is a sound that makes people pay attention.

The audiences always want to hear more, and so will you.
